Yin Yoga classes coming up! December 2024 in Annan, Scotland.
Yes, you heard right, I am opening up a mini series of Yin Yoga classes, Yin Yoga and Pranayama for restoration & relaxation.
When? At 6pm on the first three Tuesdays of December: the 3rd, the 10th, and the 17th.
Where? At Kate’s Kitchen in Annan.
What do I bring? A yoga mat if you have one (if you don’t please message me), a blanket or shawl and yourself!
Do I need to practice yoga already? No. This class is for everyone. I offer different options for every pose and help you find the one that suits you best.
Do I need to be flexible? Absolutely not! This practice will help your flexibility but it is definitely not a prerequisite.
I have an injury, can I come? Please reach out to me directly about any concerns about an injury past or present. Like many things, it depends!
I’m pregnant, can I come? You sure can! Please let me know ahead of the class so I can give some extra suggestions, especially if you are new to yoga.
What is Yin Yoga? It’s a new style of yoga based around longer times spent in the poses. It’s a lot of lying on the floor! We use lots of variations and props to find the best fitting variation for every person in the room, fitting the pose to you not the other way around.
What is Pranayama? Pranayama means breath control. We will practice some breathing techniques that will help to calm down your nervous system and promote peace and wellbeing.
How much does this cost? One class is £10, all three are £24 giving you a discount of £2 per class. Booking in advance is required by email, Facebook or Instagram.
Who is the teacher? It’s me! I will be leading these classes. I have over 500 hours of training from Yoga Alliance UK and Yoga Alliance International, and have taught at retreats, festivals, studios and camps all over the world in the last 5+ years.

Earlier this year, I was the resident yoga teacher at Zen Surf Morocco.
It’s a beautiful and rustic surf house right on the beach in Morocco, close to Agadir city and legendary surf town, Taghazout. I had such an amazing time there connecting with yogis and surfers from so many nationalities, bodies and experiences, and it was such a good time for me to grow once again as a teacher.
While I’m not there now, I very much welcome a return to the area to teach yoga and surf. If you are looking for a resident yoga teacher for your surf camp in 2025, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Yoga Classes at Zen Surf Morocco
In the mornings, I taught gentle Vinyasa flow. We sit, we breathe, we wake up our brains and bodies and senses, moving with ease and grace so that we are ready to start the surfing day! Check out what the balance class looks like in a timelapse here.
In the evenings, I taught Yin 😍 I love teaching Yin yoga! It’s such a treat to slow down after a day of catching waves and reflect and stretch and restore. Check out what a class with me might look like here.
Did you know that I took a long weekend of workshops with head Yin teacher Jo Phee a couple of years back? It completely transformed my knowledge, understanding and practice of yin yoga and deeply enriched my teaching of this practice of relaxation, rejuvenation and self-discovery, and I love to share it with others. In 2024, I revolutionised my teaching and practice again with a 50-hour YTTC with another Yin yoga legend, Devi Daly.
Yin yoga is the perfect evening practice, offering your body, mind, and soul a chance to rest, restore, and reflect after a day spent riding the waves. We’re all here for a multitude of reasons, each unique to our individual journeys. Whatever your purpose may be, you’re warmly welcomed to join my classes and allow them to nurture and guide you along your path, wherever it may lead.
